“My youngest nephew, at the time, passed away when he was 4 months and 1 week old. His birthday is this month and he would have been 2 years old. Since his birthday is just around the corner, it brings back the feelings all over again. It feels like yesterday that I made the call (to The Unforgettables Foundation) and I remember the lady’s voice and the conversation I had with her. I start to think about the day he was born and that he is really, truly gone and I can never have him back. Remembering that day, and everything we had to do.
